Spiraling emotions. You likely know that feeling. Everything inside you is firing. Your heart is pounding, and your head is spinning. You feel those spiraling emotions, and you feel as if you are drowning. No? Anybody?

I’ve talked to enough women out there to know I am not alone in this battle. So what is your plan? What will you do the next time you feel those spiraling emotions and begin to look frantically for a way to jump from this speeding train threatening to run down all loved ones in its path?

If that sounds a little dramatic to you perhaps you are one of those blessed with an unshakable inner peace, and you are growing increasingly concerned for my welfare and the safety of my family. Well, as my husband loves to say, “You’re not wrong!”

But if you get me, please don’t miss this episode! In total transparency I share how I totally lost it the other night all because Holden got a new bed!

I do believe that internal peace is possible, because Jesus promised He has already given it to us! But I also know Scripture tells us we must hold and maintain our peace (Proverbs 17:28, Matthew 5:9) and we must be constantly renewed in our minds. (Ephesians 4:23) So yes we have peace! But we also have some work to do. So in this episode I lay out a plan for “jumping off the train,” so to speak, and proactively resetting my mind and holding my peace when in the midst of spiraling emotions.
