How’s the Emotional Environment of Your Home? : It’s Your Call, Mama!

Not long ago Tim and I were talking about the dynamics of our home life. Especially as a single income home, for the most part the provisional/financial stability of our home depends on him, but the emotional stability of our home in large part depends on me. As wives and mothers, we dictate the emotional environment for our homes. We’ve all heard the phrase, “If mama’s not happy nobody’s happy.” And I believe there is a lot of truth to that.

For the Christian Mom Who is Losing Her Mind: You Are Not Alone!

I am a firm believer in teaching our kids to use the power of choice whether it is with their attitude, their friends or their time management. Once they are “out in the world” we will not always be there to force, beg, and nag them to do the right thing, so I believe the earlier we begin to teach our kids that they have the power to make choices the sooner they will gain the confidence and ability to choose and choose wisely.
